Organizational Relationships are utilized for District-wide Relationships, School-wide Relationships and for Department-wide Relationships. To create a new relationship, click on the Add button. You will add the information listed below and click the Add button to save and add the relationship.
Helpful Hints / Tips
- For Budget Module organizational relationships
- Each and every individual who will be approving purchase requisitions and/or budget transfer requests will need an organizational relationship.
- Relationships that are applicable to Locations will only need a single organizational relationship. For example (in general) each school can utilize the Genesis provided "Principal" relationship for the location based relationships.
- Relationships that are applicable to Department will only need a single organizational relationship. For example (in general) each department has a department head. In that situation, the District would create a "Department Head" relationship and utilize it to assign the Department Head to applicable departments.
