Utilizing Notices for Onboarding

The District can utilize the Notices tab as a component for Onboarding.  When you are creating the Onboarding Notice, we recommend selecting the Onboarding Portal Role Access and the Onboarding Staff list.  This will ensure that the Notice is only active and viewable while the staff member is active in the Onboarding process



Once your Notice is created, navigate to the Onboarding Task Sets to ensure the View Notices task is included in the Task Set.  Once you have added in files / URLs, you can designate a requirement for the employee to view each individual file / URL.





Adding the NJEA Prudential Income Protection+ Program to the Notice

A recommended URL to add tot he Onboarding Notice panel is the NJEA Prudential Income Protection  + Program.  To add the URL for the staff to review the program and to register for benefits, first, click on the Add URL button in the Notice panel.  The URL link to the official webpage is https://enroll.njea.org/index.php


In addition, you will have to ensure the Notice is "active" in the task set.  This will ensure the module will track if the employee has view the Notice.
