Payroll Run Statuses

The "Status" banner area on the Payroll Dashboard Screen shows the current status of the payroll run.  There are 6 color-coded status settings:

•  - Payroll has not yet been started.  
•  - "Check for Staff Exceptions" has been run and there are staff members with serious defects in their payroll setup.  Payroll cannot be calculated until these issues are cleared up.
•  - "Check for Staff Exceptions" has been run.  Any errors or warnings displayed in this step should be cleared up before moving to the "Calculate" step.  NOTE:  some warnings can be left if needed.  Warnings will not stop payroll from running; errors will.
•  - Payroll is currently being calculated (i.e. the process is running right now).  Everything else should be locked out while it runs.
•  - Payroll has been successfully calculated.   Any errors or warnings shown in this step should be cleared up before paying the employees.  NOTE:  some warnings can be left if needed.  Warnings will not stop payroll from running; errors will.  
• - Payroll has been finalized. Everything for this payroll has been locked and no further changes can be made. With the exception of recalling and regenerating pay stubs.
