Modified on Tue, Oct 15 at 12:04 PM

The "List" Answer Type allows you, the Form's designer, to create a set of possible answers.  This a "custom list" option.

List- You can create your own drop down list for answer choices to your question you typed into the Question Box

In the "Add Question" popup, specify the Answer Type as "List".  Additional configuration is required once the Question has been created.

Once you have added the "List" question, use its Edit button to bring up the full Modify Question screen.

Edit the question to add the data you would like displayed in the drop down.

Below the central frame there will be an "Items for the drop down list / checkboxes / radio buttons" control.  This is where you define your set of possible answers.

To add items, type the label for the new item into the "Add Item" text field (the bottom of the list) and click "Add Item".

There is no limit to how many items can be in your list:

An item is not in the list until you click "Add Item".  You can update both the labels for the items and their position in the list by updating the Seq and Item fields and then clicking the Save button.  Items are ordered by their Seq (sequence) number, not alphabetically.

The question displays as a drop down list containing the list items you created:
