Approval Chains are utilized in the follows subsystems:
- A Requisition (in Budget)
- A Budget Transfer Request (in Budget)
- A Timesheet (in Payroll)
- An Employee Form (In Human Resources)
- A PD request (in Evaluations)
Overview of District Organization
The District Organization Chart - the "District Organization" is setup in SchoolFi in order to define "Relationships" that can be used when approving items vis an Approval Chain.
Three Levels of Organization
- District-wide Relationships - An open ended set of Relationships with 2 required settings: Superintendent & Business Administrator.
- School-wide Relationships - An open ended set of Relationships with a single hardwired setting: Principal.
- Department-wide Relationships - An open ended set of Relationships with no hardwired setting.
