Export to Plan Connect: Census Version 2

Modified on Wed, Mar 8, 2023 at 10:01 AM

This is a variation on the regular Export to Plan Connect: Census report.

The main differences between the original report and Version 2 are that first off, all staff including inactive are used in the report.

The second main difference is the columns used:

  • SS#
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Sex
  • Date of Birth
  • Status - See explanation below*.
  • Job Title  - Most recent position tracking record, using that linked position's Comment field.
  • First Day Worked - Date of Hire field
  • Permanent Appt. Date - Date of Contractual Start
  • Street Address
  • City
  • State Zip
  • Term Date - See explanation below*.

Status/Term Date:  This is an employment status code. If the employee is active in the system, it will print A.
Otherwise it will print the following...

  1. First look to see if there is an employment history record with an exit date and an exit code.
  2. If there is, use that exit code to match with the grouping of codes below.
  3. If there is, use that exit date for the Term. Date column.
  4. If the staff is not marked active, but no exit employment history records exist, see if there is a Contractual End date so at the very least we can use that as the Term. Date column.
  • A = Active
    D = Deceased
    De = Deleted
    L = Leave of Absence
    NR = Not Rehired
    RS = Resigned
    RT = Retired
    T = Terminated

So for example, if a staff member's Employment Record has an exit code of one of

  • 25 - Because of prolonged illness, resigned
  • 28 - No reason given for resignation, resigned
  • 29 - To assume home duties, resigned

These all match up with RS, resigned.
