Summative Observation Rubric: Page Groups Calculation

This calculation uses the rubric data collected in the Summative Observation to calculate the practice score.   Score from other observations are not included.

Step 1: Collect Page Group Scores

An internal lookup table of page group scores is constructed from page groups scores of the summative observation.

Step 2: Calculate the practice score

The formula to determine the practice score is taken from the practice rubric section of the workflow.  (See screen shot below).

Step 3: Storing the results

The results are stored in the practice field on the NJSmart Eval Tab.

The domain scores discovered in step 1 are stored on this tab as well.

The practice score is stored in the Teacher Practice Score field if the Score type on the demographics page is Teacher or Other Certified Staff. Otherwise it is stored in the Administrator Practice Score Field.
