Specific data changes to a Staff member throughout SchoolFi will trigger the Payroll Verified flag of a staff to be set to false.
You can see what specifically triggered the verification to become unset on the Employees Payroll Summary screen.
Below is a list of what changes trigger the payroll verification flag to become automatically unset:
Payroll Summary Screen
Changes to any of these fields:
- Federal Marital Status
- Federal Deductions
- Federal Extra Withholding
- Federal Extra Withholding %
- Take out only Federal Extra Withholding
- State
- State Marital Status
- NJ Tax Table
- State Deductions
- State Extra Withholding
- Take out only State Extra Withholding
- FICA Exempt
- FLI Exempt
- EIC Exempt
- SUT Exempt
- Imputed Waiver
- Salary Balance
- Pays Left
- Employee has submitted a 2020 W-4
- Step 2 Checked
- Step 3 Amount
- Step 4a Amount
- Step 4b Amount
- Step 4c Amount
Events on the Payroll Summary Screen that will trigger it:
- Deleting the Payroll Summary Record
- (No payroll summary) - when Employee is added to payroll
Demographics Screen
- First Name
- Last Name
- Middle Name
- Employment status is changed
Salary Screen
- Change in value of base earning
- Added a new base earning
- Deleting a base earning
Healthcare Screen
- A change to the Coverage fields (Dates) will trigger the Payroll Unverify Warning
Database Engine
- Whenever a StaffPositionTracking or StaffOtherBaseEarning is created or deleted from any screen or subsystem
- Whenever a change in any of these fields happens on any screen:
- Position Tracking
- start date
- end date
- fte
- overrideSalary
- Salary Guide, Step or Column
- Term Code
- overrideGuideHoursPerDay
- Staff Other Base Earning
- Salary Guide, Step or Column
- Position Tracking
Staff Maintenance Task
- Whenever an Additional Contractual Earning (Longevity) is changed by this task.
