Enabling Pay Stub notification for your employee portal users is a quick 2 step process.
The email and SchoolFi Messaging notifications will not be sent to the staff members until the date/time set for the pay stubs to be visible in the Employee Portal.
Step 1: Enable SchoolFi Messaging for Employee Portal Users
Go to the Setup.Employee Portal.Users screen.
You can either modify a user one at a time and turn on the SchoolFi Messaging checkbox.
or
Search for all users, and click the "Set SF Messaging..." button to enable it for all checked users.
To have SchoolFi Messaging enabled for all newly created employees going forward:
Go to the Setup.Employee Portal.Settings screen.
Check the "SchoolFi Messaging enabled by default for new portal users" option.
Step 2: Grant Permission to Employee Portal Users to receive Pay Stub Notifications
Go to the Setup.SF Messaging.Events screen.
Click the "Manage Security" button for the "Your Paystub is Available" event.
Check the following options:
- Available to all users
- Automatically subscribe users that can access it and receive email notifications
