With the new state policy that Tenured Teachers will not be required to complete SGOs for the upcoming school year (2024-2025). Some districts after copying over the data to the current school year from the previous year may want to turn off the SGO tab for those staff members to prevent them from filling out the forms.
You can do this one of two ways, both are done within the Staff Management side of the system.
The first option: Individually Turn off the Check Box.
You can navigate to the staff member's portal tab within their record. From there you can turn off the check box titled Fill and SGO Form and then click save.
The Second Option: Mass Shut Turn off the Check Box.
In Staff Management under Personnel > Mass Change you can mass shut off the check box for your staff. You can do this by using a search results from the personnel search screen or creating a list in the system.
Using the Personnel Staff Search will be the default option: When you search for your staff on the personnel screen it will save the last search who you are going to apply these changes to. Otherwise you can use the dropdown to select the specific list of people you want this to impact.
Once you determine how you are going to select the staff members you want to look at the Data to Change drop down. Here you will look for the category of Portal Tab, and search within there for Fill and SGO Form. When you select this from the drop down it will provide you with an additional option saying Checked.
You will want to leave this as unchecked, indicating to the system that you want to uncheck it for the selected group of staff. It is always best to run the mass change in Simulation Mode first so you can see everyone that it will impact. Simulation mode is turned on by default when using this screen.
When you are ready, you will click Simulate or Apply Changes and it will provide you with a pop-up asking if you are sure. You will click okay, and the task will run.
After the task has ran, it will show you that it simulated the changes and as well show you what the changes will be:
IF everything looks to be correct, you can then uncheck simulation mode and then again click Apply Changes and it will make the changes live to the system.
