Publishing W2 Documents to Document Management

The right side of the Payroll→W2→Publish W2s to Doc Mgt screen is where the W2s documents are created and published.  

                            


To generate the W2 documents and publish them to staff members' employee portals, click the "Create and Distribute W2 documents to employees" button.  This brings up a confirmation dialog:

                            


Click OK to start the generation of the W2 documents.  During this process, which will take some time, the following dialog is displayed:

                           


When the process has completed the following information dialog is displayed:

                         


The W2 documents have now been both created and published to Doc Management.  The display on the screen now should appear as follows:


Note that the parameters on the left side of the screen are not editable.  W2 documents cannot be regenerated, or generated for additional staff members (should that be necessary) without recalling the existing the documents.

 

Optionally - you can set up SFMessaging to email employees when their W2 is published to their employee portal:


Setup > SFMessaging
