Recalling Published W2 Documents

Once W2 documents have been generated and published to Document Management, they can only be adjusted if they are first recalled.


The Recall W2 documents from employees function is found on the Payroll > W2 > Publish W2s to Doc Mgt screen once the documents have been generated.


Note that the parameters on the left side of the screen are frozen if W2 documents have been published.  The only way to adjust these settings is to recall the documents.



To begin the recall process, click the "Recall W2 documents from employees" button.  This brings up the following confirmation dialog:

                          


If you click OK the W2 documents are recalled.  During this operation the following progress dialog is displayed:

                         


When the recall completes, the following informational dialog is displayed:

                       


The parameters on the left side of the screen are now again editable, and the W2s can be regenerated whenever you wish:
