Employee verification of health plans

Configuring the Employee Portal

Screen: Setup >>> Employee Portal >>> Roles


Check the Healthcare checkbox In the payroll section of a role.   This will allow the employees to see their current health care tracking record as it appears on the Personnel >>> Staff >>> Modify >>> Payroll >>>Healthcare screen.

  • Show approve health care information button – This button will enable the Employee verification of health plans feature
  • Approve Health care statement – This text area is where the message to the employee that describes that they are certifying the accuracy of the health care information can be customized.
  • Button text for when the data is correct
  • Button text for when the data is incorrect




The Employee Portal view of the verification of health plans


  • A banner will appear at the top of all employee portal screens if they have not yet verified there health care information. 
  • The employee portal users will be presented with the Approve Health care statement, 2 radio buttons and a text area where they can key in information that can be viewed by users in SchoolFi on the employee’s healthcare tab.
  • The user at this point can choose that the information is correct and leave an optional message or they can choose that it is incorrect and leave a detailed message about what is not right.
  • The user can then submit this information.  
  • The user has the option to retract the submission and perform the task above again after the information has been submitted.

Administrative view


The individual submission details can be seen on the Personnel >>> Staff >>> Modify >>> Payroll >>>Healthcare screen of an employee.  Clicking on the Set Verification Status.. button will bring up a dialog box where the following data elements can be changed:


                               

  • Status Code 
    • (Employee must choose) – This will set the employee portal screen back to it’s initial state where they must choose an option.   This option will also automatically clear out the Employee submitted this on date and time field.
    • Information is correct
    • Change needed
    • Message from/to employee: This field initially displays the message the employee sent to the administrator.   This field can be filled in with a message back to the employee and is usually used in conjunction with the (Employee must choose)  status code.    When the employee next logs in, they will see this message and then choose if it is correct or if further changes are needed.

FAQ

  • The Employee Certification of health care data from the employee portal section of the screen is only visible on the most recent Staff Health Tracking Benefit record.




Reports

Employee Portal Healthcare Verification Employee Portal Healthcare Verification. 

Includes only ACTIVE staff members.  The report can create a staff list to help quickly navigate through employees that have requested changes.
