Creating an Employmen Contract

Navigate to the Personnel >>>  Contracts tab.  To display Position Tracking Records that were approved on a given Board of Education Meeting date, select the BOE Agenda Date and click on the Search button.  All positions that were tagged as approved on the selected BOE Agenda Date will be displayed.  Review the search results to ensure the Contract template has been assigned for the Position tracking Record(s) that you are creating contracts.  





To create the contracts, first select the staff member(s) for who you want to create the contract by checking the box on the far left of the row.  Then and you click on the Create Contracts button.  A pop-up window will appear telling you the tasks that SchoolFi will perform.  Click on the Create Contracts button to generate the contract.  





Once created, a PDF Icon will appear along with the signature status of the contract.  To review the contract, click on the PDF icon and you can review the actual contract document.  




If you need to make any modifications to the Position Tracking Record (so the changes are reflected in the contract), we recommend you select the Staff member (by checking the box on the far left of the row) and you click on the Delete Unsigned Contracts button.  That will remove the contract and the contract can not be, inadvertently, published to the employee.   


Please note, that any changes that are made to the position tracking record will AUTOMATICALLY be reflected in the contract, even if the contract is not deleted from the screen.
