Observation Maintenance

Observations can be maintained from the "Observation Maintenance" tab.

Legend

There are two legends on this page to help you determine an observation. The first being the color legend that is at the top and the second the icon legend found at the bottom of the page.

Color Legend

The color legend can be found at the top of the page within the search parameter box. This color legend will tell you what each observation color means. These colors differentiate the type of observation that it is.

Icon Legend

The icon legend is found at the bottom of the page. This legend will inform you of what the different icons mean that are found in each observation cell box. It will also tell you the Time Periods that your district has setup in the system and uses.

Search

There are a multitude of different parameters you can use to search for observations.

After you perform your search, the page will populate with staff members that fall under that search category. Based on the color legend at the top and the icon legend at the bottom, you can determine different information about each observation.

Performing Actions on Observations

1. There are different actions you can perform on the observations. These action buttons can be found in the "Actions on checked items.." note card when you search for observations. You can perform the following:
   
   1. Creating Observation records
   2. Delete Observation Records
   3. Assign Time Period
   4. Assign Observer
   5. Set/Unset Visible
   6. Unsign
   7. Print Observations
   8. Delete Observations
   9. Toggle Include Scoring
