Depending on the type of observation and the set up of each observation, evaluated staff members may or may not be able to see their observation at different times.
As you have learned from your icon legend, there are two icons that tell you if an observation is visible to the evaluated staff member.
You have the ability to force an observation to be visible or not visible to the evaluated staff member. To do so, click the check box for that specific observation. Then click the "Set/Unset Visible" button at the top.
On the popup, choose the action you want to perform for making the observation available to the evaluated staff member. You can also choose a specific date that the observation report and observation rubric will become available to the evaluated staff member. Then click the "Set" button.
NOTE: We highly suggest to allow the observers to make the observation report and observation rubric available to their staff member to ensure that the staff member does not see incomplete notes or scores.
When the page refreshes, you will notice that the visible icon has changed based on the action that you have performed.
