Districts can import PDF documents for individual employment contracts that were generated outside of SchoolFi. The contract will be visible in the employee portal on the documents tab.
Setup: Creating the Document Type
Navigate to the Setup >>> Doc Mgt >>> Document Types tab and click on the Add Doc Type button:
You can set the options that best meet the District's needs and we recommend the following:
Uploading the Individual Employment Contract
Navigate to the Documents tab for the staff member and click on the Attach New Document button. Select the Document Type that you created above and select the School Year for the Individual Employment Contract. Also, enter a description in the Text 1 field. Lastly, attach the PDF of the Individual Employment Contract in the lower section of the pop-up window.
The Employment Contract will not be listed in the employee's Documents tab under the header "Employment Contract".
Viewing the Individual Employment Contract in the Employee Portal
When the staff member logs into their employee portal, they will navigate to the Documents tab and select the School Year that they want to view their Individual Employment Contract. They employee can view or download their document.
