This feature controls if a button on a Staff's Healthcare Tab appears where a value can be specified to use for the salary used to calculate the cost of healthcare. In general, this used to give employee contributions for healthcare to a non-contractual employee.
To activate this festure, navigate to the Personnel >>> Setup >>> Health Plans >>> Setup tab, click on the highlighted box below and then click on the Save button.
To set the override, navigate to the individual staff members Healthcare tab and click on the button highlighted below:
Enter the override salary to be used for the employee contributions to healthcare and click Update.
You will see the salary used in the calculations has changed:
