When you need to do payroll verifications and want a list of staff sorted by their check location (not necessarily their position location), follow the instructions below.
1 - Download the attachment at the bottom of this article. Go to the Personnel > Staff > Search Result Views screen. Click on the Import View button and upload the file you downloaded from below. Name it Payroll Check Location.
2 - On the Personnel search screen, choose the Payroll Check Location search results view and click Search. This will bring up all your staff members along with their check location.
3 - Export the search results to Excel by using the Excel icon at the top, right corner of your screen. You can sort the search results on the screen by clicking on the "hamburger stack" at the top of the Check Location column. Of course, you can also sort in Excel once you've downloaded the results.
IMPORTANT: if anyone is missing a check location, we can mass add for you. When we mass add, the task will use the default location that is on the employee's Demographics tab. If you do not want that, you must manually set the Check Location on each employee's Payroll > Summary screen to what you want it to be. If you want us to mass-set, enter a help ticket requesting this.
