New Jersey Occupational Employment Report (mandatory under New Jersey Unemployment Compensation Law)

This report only works for Payroll customers.

Staff Included

All staff that are active in the system as of the Calculate Records As Of date. This can be filtered using the Position Location and Staff Primary Location options on the schedule report screen.

How is the Salary Calculated?

For each staff, the salary is the sum of the total contracted salary on each position tracking record (including other base earnings and longevity) that is active as of today.

How is the Hourly Wage calculated?

For each staff it is the sum of the hourly wage on each position tracking record (including other base earnings and longevity) that is active as of today.

How are the number of subs on the payroll calculated?

The core payroll that has the Calculate Records As Of date in the range of payroll start and end date is chosen.

All staff in that payroll that have the Substitute flag checked on their demographics screen. This can be filtered using the Position Location and Staff Primary Location options on the schedule report screen.

The list of subs is included in the report audit.

Column Breakdown:

Job Title	Found on staff’s demographics page.
Hourly Wage Rate	The sum of the hourly wage on each of the staff’s active position tracking records (including other base earnings and longevity).
Full-Time Annual Salary	Sum of the total contracted salary on each of the staff’s active position tracking records (including other base earnings and longevity).
Fraction of Full Time Worked	Sum of the FTE on each of the staff’s active position tracking records (including other base earnings and longevity).
Grade Level	Found on Position Tracking record’s School type code.
Special Education	Found on Staff’s Job Role subcategory.
Career/Technical Education	Found on Position Tracking record’s Job group name.
Work Location	Staff’s primary location name found on demographics page.
# of Employees With Exact Wage	Will always be 1.
Description of Duties	Will always be blank.
Staff Primary Department	Found on staff’s demographics page.
