Create dynamic lists for health plan eligibility

Navigate to the Personnel  >> Edit Lists  >>  Lists tab and click on the Add Staff List button to create a new Dynamitic Staff List.   You will name your staff list and ensure the Dynamitic radio button is selected.  




Most school districts staff are granted access to a particular health plan based on their salary guide classification.  For this common example, the dynamitic staff list general setting would be as illustrated below.  For ease in reviewing at a future date, we created a staff list group titled Open Enrollment Lists and we will have all of our open enrollment staff lists included in this group.  Also, you should consider only including active staff in your open enrollment staff lists.




Next, you will set your list query options.  For this example, we are utilizing the Position Tracking data table.  That is because in this sample district, employees eligibility is based on their employment classification (as set by their salary guide).  In addition, only staff members whose contractual position end date is greater than or equal to today will be included on the list.
