Setting the Plans that will be available in Open Enrollment

Navigate to the Setup  >>  Employee Portal  >>  Open Enrollment  >>  Plans Available tab and set the date in the Plan Selection for the first day of the period that the plans period will start.  In this example, the open enrollment module will be available to all staff from 4/1/2024 through 5/31/2024 with an effective plan start date of July 1, 2024.  



The next step is to Create dynamic lists for health plan eligibility and assign a staff list to each and every plan that will be available in the open enrollment period.   Some Districts utilize the "All" button for plans that are universally available to all staff to select.  We recommend the District consider building a dynamitic staff list that will contain all of the eligible staff members for the plan instead of utilizing the "All" check box.  The reason is a staff member who does not meet the FTE eligibility criteria might be assigned the open enrollment employee portal role and they would have access to process an open enrollment form.  



After all of the dynamitic lists are created, they should be assigned to each and every individual plan.
