Requiring Forms to be Filled Out
Through the Employee Portal staff members can be required to till in one or more Employee Forms before proceeding with other work. There are two options:
- Simply warn staff members - on every screen - that a form must be filled
- Prevent staff members from using any other screen until the blocking Employee Form is signed and submitted.
The Must Fill Option
There is a "Must Fill" option available in the Employee Form parameters that controls whether the Form must be filled before other work can continue:
- If this is blank, then the "must fill" functionality is turned off and the staff member can use any screen there will not be special messaging.
- Cannot use other screens until signed. - If the Must Fill Option is set to this, the staff member
- Display warning that form needs to be signed on top of every page. - The staff member can proceed with their work and access all screens, but a message will be displayed on each screen.
Blocking All Work Until the Form is Signed
If the "Cannot use other screens until signed." option is selected, the following message is displayed at the top of the "Fill Form" screen that is displayed until the form is completed and signed:
