"Tagging" is a way for the Employee Forms originator to select additional staff members to receive emails about the Employee Form. These "other staff" can be selected by the Employee Form's originator at the time they originally create the form or they can be added later, after the form has been submitted.
Once a staff member is "tagged" they will receive a copy of any email sent to the form's originator.
This is useful when, for example, a Principal wants to put in a form but also have their secretary receive copies of the follow up approval/disapproval emails.
Tagging Staff
When the ability to tag staff is turned on for an Employee Form, a "tag staff" control appears at the bottom of the Fill Form screen:
To add a staff member to the list of tagged staff, begin typing in the "Staff" field. This will cause the list of matching staff members to appear:
Once one of the displayed staff members has been chosen, their name appears in the Staff field and they can be added to the list of tagged staff:
Once the Add button is clicked, a confirmation dialog is displayed:
And the selected staff member is now in the tagged list:
These steps can be repeated to add additional staff members to the Tagged Staff list. There is no limit to how many staff can be added.
