Subscribing to SchoolFi Event Messages

To subscribe to SchoolFi Event Messages, click on the  "Mailbox" envelope icon at the upper right corner of your screen.  This brings up the SchoolFi Messaging dialog.

Click the  'Subscriptions' tab of the SchoolFi Messaging dialog.  This brings up the Subscriptions screen listing all available Event Message types:

The events that are available for you to subscribe to are found on the "Subscriptions" tab of the Messaging dialog:

To subscribe to an Event, simply click either or both the Subscription or Email checkbox corresponding to the Event.   No 'Save' operation is necessary.

The list of Message Types available to you personally will be determined by how your system is configured.

 "Subscribed" vs "Email"

Two types of subscriptions are available:

Users can subscribe in either or both ways to an Event by checking one or both checkboxes:

• Checking the "Subscribed" checkbox for an Event means the user will receive a 'SchoolFi Message' in their SchoolFi Inbox if one of these Events occurs.
• Checking the "Email" checkbox for an Event means the user will receive a standard Email in their usual email Inbox if one of these Events occurs.
