Submit Professional Development Plan for Approval

Modified on Tue, Apr 18, 2023 at 1:02 PM

Once you have completed all necessary sections of your Professional Development Plan, you will be able to sign and submit your plan for approval.

Plan Approver(s)

First, you want to make sure that the approver fields are filled out. Depending on the your district's policy, you will either have one or two approvers. A correctly set up approver section with two approvers will look like the following:

If an approver is missing from your plan, it will look like this. To populate a missing approver field, click the "Try to determine who my supervisor is". If the relationship has been set up by your school, then the field will populate. If the field does not populate, contact your Staff Management Process Administrator or System Administrator.

Sign and Submit Plan

The act of signing and submitting your plan for approval will make your Professional Development Plan a "read-only" template. Make sure to only sign and submit your plan when you are ready.

To sign and submit your Professional Development Plan, click the "Sign and Submit Plan" button.

On the pop up, you will be prompted to type in your signature pin. Then click the "Sign and Submit" button.

Edit a Submitted Professional Development Plan

You are allowed to unsign and unsubmit your Professional Development Plan to edit it, UP UNTIL an approver has signed off on it. To do so, click the "Unsign and Unsubmit" button.

Once an approver has signed off on your plan, only an approver has the capability to unsign your plan for you to make changes to it.
