Required Setup for Evaluation System

Evaluations setup involves the following:

  • Setting Staff Members up to be evaluated - Each staff member needs several fields set to ensure they can be evaluated.  Staff members who will do the Evaluations, as well as monitor the status of Evaluations, also need permissions set to allow them to do these tasks.

  • The Evaluation System itself must be configured: 
    • Rubrics need to be created and correctly configured.

    • Conference Forms - The narrative forms to be filled in by Observers and Observees.

    • "Evaluation Templates" must be set up. These specify what observations, evaluations and meetings are to be done for or held with employees over the course of an entire school year.

    • "Workflows" must be created and set up. A "Workflow" specifies how to do a single Observation, or Evaluation, or Meeting with an Employee. The Workflows manage the process of a single "Evaluation Event", while the "Evaluation Templates" specify which "Evaluation Events" must occur for a Staff Member over the course of a year.

    • "Evaluators" must be designated and Staff Members assigned to them.
