The Payroll Academy will consist of in-person, “classes” that will cover all aspects of processing payroll in SchoolFi. Classes will meet in our training center, located in Jamesburg, on a quarterly basis. Participants will be expected to bring their own (charged) laptop / Chromebook / internet accessible device to access SchoolFi and the Knowledgebase during the session.
Classes will commence at 9:00AM with an anticipated end time of 3:00PM and the participants in the Academy will collaborate with the moderator in an interactive learning / knowledge sharing environment. The goal of the Payroll Academy is to enhance the skills and knowledge required to successfully process payroll in SchoolFi.
Seating is limited and participants must be sponsored by a School District with an active SchoolFi payroll license.
The first set of classes will be geared towards reviewing the payroll process and the second meeting will be “all about timesheets”. The agendas for the third and fourth quarter meeting will be determined based on the needs of the participants from the first two sessions. The dates for the four sessions are:
- April 5, 2023 (Introduction to Payroll & Payroll in SchoolFi)
- May 17, 2023 (all About timesheets / focusing on timesheets for summer work)
- October 17, 2023 (Quarterly tax filings & interfacing with the Budget module / Open Schedule based on needs of participants)
- January 3, 2024 (W2s / Open Schedule based on needs of participants)
