Navigating to Approve Professional Development Plans
To approve a Professional Development Plan on the Employee Portal, go to the Evaluations Tab, then the Professional Development Tab, and then the Approve Plans tab.
Approval Process
Here you will see a list of Professional Development Plans waiting for your approval. The way this list is sorted can be changed by selecting from the "Type" drop down. You can search for all Professional Development Plans, plans waiting for your signature, and plans you have already signed.
To View a plan, click the "View" button next to the plan you choose. When you are ready to sign the plan, click your "Sign" button next to that plan.
Enter your Signature Pin and click the "Sign and Submit" button.
It will then mark down the date that you signed. Your "Sign" button will now become an "Unsign" button. The "Unsign" button would be used is a staff member needed to make any changes to their Professional Development Plan.
If there has not been a Supervisor assigned to a staff member, the Principal can assign a Supervisor to Approve the Professional Development Plan as well. If a Principal would like to change the Supervisor, they can do that here too.
- Check the box next to the name of the Staff Member's Professional Development Plan you would like to assign or reassign a Supervisor to. Then click the "Assign Supervisor to Checked" button.
From the drop down, choose the name of the Supervisor you would like to assign the checked Professional Development Plans to, then click the "Assign" button.
