Loading Certified Summative Ratings & Teacher SGP

In Staff Management under Personnel > Staff > Import > Import Certified Summative is where you can load in the certified scores and teacher SGP that the district has received back from the state. 

The file that you need for this import is listed below, and you will need to make sure to save the file as a TXT file format for the import.

File name from the EIS System

export_teacher_****-school year 2022-2023

(**** REPRESENTS your FEDERAL LEA CODE)

Please note this screen will ALWAYS default to the previous school year, since this import will take place based around the previous school year's evaluation information.

Once you have your file prepared (saved in the correct file format) you can drag and drop or click Choose File and select the appropriate file from your computer.

Next you will click on the Upload and Process File button, it will bring you to a screen where it will show you on the left hand side the staff members name and the current value that is in the system, and then on the right it will show the staff member and the value it is pulling from the file you are using. 

You can either choose to apply the changes if everything looks correct and send the data over to the NJSmart Eval. screen for that staff members, or you can start over, which will bring you back to the main import screen to start the process over again. 

Once the process is finished you can go to the staff members NJSmart Eval screen and confirm that the data is now showing under the Certified Summative Rating and the Teacher SGP score. 

Final Step:

Once the file has been imported, and the SGP scores are populated in the fields mentioned above. You can navigate to Evaluations > Eval. Tools tab in Staff Management. From here you can the option to recalculate the summative for the previous school year. This will run the task that goes through and makes sure all the scores update accordingly.
