Update the mSGP Setting for Teachers

Mass updating the mSGP parameter for teachers can be done via the “Mass Change” feature found on the Personnel >Mass Change screen:

1. Create a list of the teachers to update:  You can create a staff list, or simply do a search on the “Personnel >Staff  > Search Staff” screen and use that directly for the mass update.
   
   
2. Go to the Personnel > Mass Change screen.
   
   
3. Either use a staff list you have previously created or the list of staff currently showing on the “Personnel > Staff  > Search Staff” screen.
   
   
4. In the Data to Change field, scroll down and select the “Teacher receives an mSGP” option:

1. Once you have selected this option, you will be ready to run the Mass Change:

Make sure you leave the “Checked” checkbox unchecked in order to set teachers to NOT have an mSGP. 

You can optionally check the “Simulation Mode” to run the update as a simulation – to see what it would do first before you make the actual changes.

1. Press the  button to either simulate or make the actual changes.   Once it has run it will display a confirmation dialog and a list of the staff members that were or would be affected (note the old and new values):

1. If you have run the Mass Change tool in simulation mode a warning will be displayed.

      Make sure to run the updates for real.
