Reported SGO Score
The Reported SGO Score is the score that is populated into the NJSmart Evaluation Submission report that is provided to the State of New Jersey.
This score will either be the Total Teacher SGO Score or the Sum Weighted SGO Score.
This is dependent upon the score reporting settings that your district has set up.
Important Note for Districts that Submit Sum Weighted SGO Score
For districts that choose to submit the Sum Weighted SGO Score, you may find in some instances that the calculated Sum Weighted Score is different from the Reported SGO Score.
This is because the State does not allow reporting of SGO scores to be less than 1.00 and higher than 4.00
The system will convert any Sum Weighted SGO scores below a 1.00 to become a 1.00 and any Sum Weighted SGO scores above a 4.00 to become a 4.00.
The Sum Weighted SGO Score will still be displayed for the staff member to view as it is the actual score they received based on the State calculations.
